Evermore Crown College
Evermore Crown College isn't your typical university. It exists in the modern world - magic powers the Wi-Fi, ley line energy charges your phone, magitech innovation keeps everything running. Students live connected lives with all the chaos that brings: social media, digital reputations, viral moments, and influence warfare alongside ancient spells and cursed relics.
The college was built where three ley lines intersect - a place where neither light nor dark holds power. It's not here to redeem villains or canonize heroes. It's here to create something new: Sovereignty.
Who Attends
Children of legendary heroes and infamous villains. Descendants of side characters - godmothers, guards, healers. And regular scholarship students with exceptional talent who got in through merit.
The Reality
Officially, your last name doesn't matter. Unofficially? Everyone knows it matters more than anything. Classes are mixed. A crown heir might sit next to a baker's daughter.
Campus Size
500-acre campus with a mix of ancient castle architecture and modern facilities. Approximately 8,000 students (2,000 per House).
The Mission
"To temper the steel of legacy with the fire of choice."
Translation? Your parents don't define you. But good luck convincing everyone else of that.
Crown League Athletics
Athletics are a huge deal. The Crown League governs magical sports - think D1 athletics but with controlled combat magic, endurance trials, and physical disciplines that can get dangerous. Traditional rules with one major modification: controlled magic enhancement is LEGAL within regulation limits. Refs have magic-nullifying technology to prevent cheating.
This makes games VIOLENT, spectacular, and wildly entertaining. Players are campus celebrities with massive MirrorNet followings and NIL deals worth millions. Games are streamed live. Being a Crown League athlete makes you campus royalty.
Magic Regulation
Passive bloodline abilities used freely. Active magic must be declared. No lethal force, mind control, or time manipulation.
The Ironbacks
Football team representing ALL four Houses. Colors: obsidian black, silver, deep crimson. Head Coach: Reinhardt. Captains: Felix Charming (O), Rex Commander (D).
Rivalry Game
Grimm University is the biggest rival. Games are INTENSE - historical rivalry, sometimes violence breaks out. Coming up in two weeks.
Residential Housing
ECC uses a cross-House residential system. Students from ANY House may live in ANY dorm based on their primary track/focus and special needs. This creates diverse living communities where Briar, Iron, Glass, and Bloom students coexist - building cross-House friendships and reducing historical tensions.
Thorncourt Hall
Primary residence for combat/contact sports athletes from ALL Houses. Home to both the Ironbacks (football) AND Monarchs (basketball). The most prestigious athletic dorm. Loud, aggressive, peak jock energy. Party central.
Suite 3C (Main Characters): Felix Charming, Ash Cinder, Rouge Rider
Suite 2A (Villain Kids, fireproofed): Ember Dragonheart, Jinx Facilier
Bastion Hall
Leadership and political track dorm. Heavy Iron presence. Formal, disciplined environment. Rex Commander lives in a single room here. Garrison Stonefist in Warden's Row wing.
Ironvault Residence
Special containment dorm for students with dangerous or hard-to-control powers. NOT punishment - SAFETY. Magically reinforced walls, magic-nullifying technology. Titan Goliathson lives here due to titan bloodline.
Wildspire Lodge
Environmental and nature dorm for beast/nature magic specialists. Fenrir Grayback lives here to connect with his wolf nature. The Wildspire Pack runs together in the Forbidden Forest.
Mirrorspire Tower
Magical theory dorm for elite magic users, seers, and prophets. Building is semi-sentient - stairs move, doors vanish. Orion Starseer, Echo Mirrorshard live here. Students see too much.
Tidecrest Hall
Aquatic sports dorm with saltwater accommodations, humidity control, pool access via underwater tunnel. Reef Coralson and Wave Triton live here - they have FOURTEEN sisters combined who attend EVERY game.
Feral Row
Alternative/misfit dorm for transfers, rule-breakers, students who don't fit elsewhere. Edge of campus, building condition questionable. Chaotic, loyal, unpredictable. Best parties, worst decisions. Found family energy.
Campus Locations
Concordat Coliseum
Home stadium of the Ironbacks. Capacity: 50,000. Magically enhanced with weather control, magical lighting, amplified crowd noise, healing stations, instant replay projections. Built on neutral ground between all four House territories as symbol of unity.
Mirror Plaza
Central campus meeting point featuring a 30-foot enchanted mirror that shows potential futures. Popular for meeting up, first dates, existential crises, and MirrorNet photo ops. Freshmen must look on first day; seniors look at graduation.
Crown Library
Massive 12-floor ancient library. Contains every text on fairy tale history, magic theory, bloodline records. Upper floors require House clearance. The Head Librarian is a sphinx who knows everything and guards secrets fiercely.
The Great Hall
Massive dining and ceremony hall with soaring ceilings, stained glass depicting the Concordat signing. Four long House tables. Used for daily meals, sorting ceremony, House Cup ceremony, formal balls.
Forbidden Forest Edge
Dark forest bordering campus (technically off-limits). Dangerous magical creatures, wild magic. Popular for rule-breaking adventures, privacy, illegal experiments. The Wildspire Pack runs here under the moon.
The Shadow Market
The underground black market operates in the catacombs beneath the Whispering Library. Students trade secrets, relics, favors, fake IDs, drugs (magical and otherwise), cursed items, and futures. If you need something you can't get legally, you go to the Shadow Market. Just don't ask too many questions.
What's Traded
Illegal magic items, performance-enhancing magic (banned in sports), stolen goods, information/blackmail, curse services, forbidden spell books.
The Rules
No violence. All deals are binding. Snitches face creative curses. Only accessible if you know someone. Constantly relocating to avoid security.
Known Players
Jett Rider and Talon Hook are among the most active traders. Strong Glass House ties to the operation. Some faculty turn a blind eye.
Dangers
Untraceable goods. No consumer protection. Dangerous people. Campus expulsion if caught. Legal consequences. Betting on games happens here - allegations of point shaving exist.
MirrorNet
MirrorNet is the magical social media platform - think Instagram meets TikTok, but some posts are prophetic visions and going viral can literally alter reality. There are anonymous gossip accounts, thirst trap pages for athletes, activism accounts, and conspiracy theory threads that are sometimes correct.
The algorithm promotes content based on magical resonance - it literally shows you what you're meant to see. Your MirrorNet following affects your real-world status. Fans are parasocial AF - they comment on everything, feel they know players personally, create stan accounts, ship players together.
Top Accounts
Felix @LuckyNumber7 (2.3M), Jett @JettSetter (892K), Ash @AshesToGlory (890K). Verified accounts for legacy students and athletes.
Features
Reflections (posts), Shards (reposts), Echoes (comments), Glamours (filters with actual illusion magic), Scrying (livestreaming).
Impact
Used for recruitment, branding, NIL deals. Drama spreads instantly. Content includes highlights, training, lifestyle, thirst traps, cryptic posts.
Current Timeline
Fall Semester - Week 10 (Early November)
Junior year. Football season: 8-2 record, two games remaining. Midterms recently finished. Homecoming was two weeks ago (Ironbacks won, massive party). Thanksgiving break in three weeks. Winter Formal in three weeks - students scrambling for dates.
Championship Path
Rivalry game against Grimm University coming in two weeks - biggest game of season. Championship game would be mid-December. Win out and they're in.
Scout Activity
Professional scouts at every game evaluating NFL prospects. Felix under increased scrutiny as projected first-round draft pick.
Weather
Fall, getting cold, leaves changing. Football weather. Cozy season.
The Prophecy Tension
Orion Starseer's warnings becoming more frequent and darker. Some students preparing for the Concordat breaking - stockpiling supplies, choosing sides quietly. Paranoia growing about who will break the treaty. The football team represents Concordat unity - all four Houses working together. If the team fractures, the kingdom fractures.
Social Hierarchy
There's a cold war happening between Old Bloods (legacy students), New Fates (children of side characters), and Non-Legacies (normal students). Social mobility is real but it breeds resentment. Power is concentrating faster than anyone can control it.
Top Tier
Football players. Campus celebrities, special treatment, parties revolve around them, NIL money, MirrorNet famous.
Second Tier
Other athletes, legacy students from major bloodlines (royalty, famous heroes), MirrorNet influencers, House leaders.
Lower Tiers
Greek life, club leaders, regular students. Students from 'villain' bloodlines face automatic suspicion. Ironvault students seen as dangerous.
Party Culture
Parties are CONSTANT. Thorncourt Suite 3C is party central. House parties are bigger than Greek parties. Magical alcohol hits different.
Welcome to Evermore Crown College. Try not to start a war.
